About the American Victory Division

Updated April, 2015

The United States Naval Sea Cadet Corp is a non-profit organization, educating youth in maritime matters, military bearing and preparing them for a future within the military or civilian life. Although the Sea Cadet Corps was started at the request of the Navy, the armed services do not provide financial support to the NSCC, the support that each service does provide is invaluable.

They support the NSCC to the extent permitted by available resources, providing the support does not interfere with military missions. Support includes use of bases and ships for cadet training, textbooks, training aids, under certain circumstances, and surplus uniforms. Also each service provides a valuable asset of personnel, who volunteer to instruct cadets in their area of expertise at Sea Cadet summer training and as members of the NSCC Officer Corps.

The NSCC is always looking for individual and corporate donors. Contributing to the Sea Cadets is making an investment in the youth and future of this country. As a non-profit charitable organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, any contribution made to American Victory Division is tax deductible. We thank you for your assistance in our mission, and we know that our cadets will benefit greatly from your contribution.
